Inspired by Jamie Oliver's culinary approach, I was compelled to recreate his 'Rustic country style' fruit mince pies. The moment I saw him making fruit mince pies this way, I knew I had to try it. Delicious layers of buttery Filo pastry, fruit mince, nuts, dates, citrus peel, nutmeg & cloves, wrapped in layers of puff pastry. Once you start, you can't stop eating. I'll never make them another way!
