Selvedge is a family run business born from the impenetrable ties and amalgamated efforts of five siblings. Its visionary, Dino Perotti, has again set loose his iconic fashion sense and modelling expertise in designing clothing to suit the trendy and edgy fashionistas of today. The high quality materials have been locally sourced, designed, and manufactured in South Africa. The clothing trade in SA took one of the biggest knocks in history when China became the melting pot for manufacturing, literally crushing the SA market overnight. Nevertheless, recently South Africans have managed a renaissance of local trade by embracing crafts that have passed down through the generations. In supporting one another, South Africans have reintroduced a market economy that has attracted worldwide attention.
