As the Greek myth goes, Bacchus was furious. Insulted and half drunk on his own w**e, he swore the next soul to cross his path would be ripped apart by his tigers.
Amethyste enters, just a girl walking to make an offering to Artemis, until a growl behind her turned into sharp claws and teeth.
Artemis moved into action. In one moment, Amethyste was human. In the next, she was turned into crystal, and the tigers tore at stone instead of skin.
Bacchus stood there, w**e cup still in hand, watching what his temper nearly cost. As an apology, he knelt and poured his cup over her crystallised body. The w**e sank in and stained the crystal a deep purple, and it’s remained that way ever since.
