Sew Fit started in 1993 in Port Elizabeth, while I was making some costumes for some of my friends on the dining room table. From there a school asked me to make all their swimwear, I decided to take a leap of faith and quit my day job to start full time making anything with lycra. We moved to George in 1995 where I continued with my home made business which got so busy I had to employ a seamstres

s. We have grown tremendously and in 2011 we finally moved into a shop area and now in 2017 we have a beautiful shop located in George center, on the corner of Courtney and Mitchell Street. I love what I do and I am excited to see how it is going to grow.
