Renier Oosthuizen:
Renier Oosthuizen was born in the sixties and always knew that he wanted to be an artist. Renier's art is strongly influenced by African cultural designs and features earthy colours. The designs are simple and strong, the overall feeling is rich and colourful. He uses porcupine quills and zebra stripes worked into his paintings either as major features or soft backgrounds. The
result is a fabulous combination of fine art and decorative artwork. Renier has exhibited countrywide and has a large selection of landscapes and floral compositions. Pieter de Beer:
Birds and Animals, painting and fotos. Floristry, silk painting, leatherwork, photography, bookbinding and stained glass - Local artist Pieter de Beer has worked in many art forms. It has been a long creative journey since childhood. Pieter worked for a decade as a floral designer for Emperors Palace before he started painting full time and doing photography on the side. The main subject of his commissions has been birds and animals. An African sunset, a misty morning, a windy afternoon over a vast grassland - to capture the essence of all of that can last a lifetime.
