Vintage 1950-1960’s Hand-Worked MCM Solid Brass Vide-Poche Catchall tray (one-of-a-kind)

Absolute Treasure… thick, heavy brass. Aged authentic look with etched markings, hand-worked with a wonderfully organic, free-form shape.

Despite its petite proportions, it weighs a substantial 220g, giving it a surprisingly weighty, quality feel in the hand.

Perfect as a vide-poche, jewellery dish, key/coin catchall or simply as a sculptural brass accent.

Its handmade markings & irregularities form part of the authenticity, character & history of the piece. In lovely solid condition with no chips or cracks, with age related surface wear. Lightly cleaned as to not remove patina and age related too much. Pictures form an integral part of the description.

Circa 1900-1930’s Authentic Antique Solid Brass Door Bell

🔔 There are some Antique pieces that we wish could tell their story…this is definitely 1!

Imagine arriving at your friend’s front door more than a century ago & pulling this magnificent Solid Brass Bell of this magnitude, to announce your arrival. No electricity, no modern doorbell — just clever mechanics & the unmistakable ring of a large solid brass bell. 🤎

The closer you look, the better it gets… an ornate scrolling bracket, beautiful relief work, a winged cherub, a wonderfully unusual stylised creature and the original mechanical bell & clapper.

It’s pieces like this that I absolutely love finding — beautiful, functional & jaw-dropping unusual enough to make you stop & look twice.

In excellent antique condition, almost like-new, incredible condition especially given 100+ years old.
Which is super rare + original heavy clapper. This item was kept in a box, unused for generations. The only item that shows tarnish is the original chain still in place, with rust. Could be replaced or cleaned to keep in authentic condition. Last image shows assembled.

Vintage Solid Brass Banded Planter Cachepot 🪴

Beautiful mid-to-late 20th-century brass cachepot, featuring a wonderfully simple cylindrical form with distinctive raised band detailing.

Constructed from formed brass with a fitted base, this piece has developed lovely character through age, with gentle surface wear, small imperfections and a warm golden finish.

Its clean, understated design makes it particularly striking styled with an orchid or small indoor plant.

Tall Vintage 1970’s Cast Brass Schoolboy with Book & Umbrella

✨Such a charming vintage find!

A wonderfully characterful cast brass figurine depicting a young schoolboy, dressed in shorts and a wide-brimmed hat, with a book tucked beneath his arm & a closed umbrella in his hand.

From his expressive face & bow at the collar to the folds of his clothing and textured foliage around the base, there is an incredible amount of detail packed into this little 16 cm figure.

An unusual piece for a vintage brass collection, bookshelf, study or collected interior.

🪿 1970’s Charming Vintage Solid Brass Goose

A wonderfully characterful vintage solid brass calling goose, dating to approximately the 1970s–early 1980s.

A beautifully sculpted elongated neck, raised wing detail and the sweetest open calling beak. Cast in solid brass and finished by hand, it has developed lovely age-related patina and oxidation in the recessed details — exactly the character we love to see in genuine vintage brass.

Despite its substantial proportions, the brass is relatively thin and the piece is surprisingly lightweight for its size, making it wonderfully practical to move and style.
