And now for something completely different. I don't normally take requests to do up people's bags, but it looked like something real special in the making. So I removed the old synthetic lining and gave it a suede lining instead and added the belt loop. Next was making the suede belt, which has a thick veg tan inner for strength and durability, and I glued and sewed the suede right over for a beautiful plush look that's going to age really well. I also took the leftover pieces from the bag to attach a ring for keys and a pouch for a pocket knife/leatherman.
