This starry rainbow rice was a lifesaver yesterday. When he'd had enough of the stones and pom-poms he turned the tray into a construction site obviously. Eventually it ended up being a scooping and transferring activity. I literally did nothing to set this up, because he even poured the rice from the jar onto the tray. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ @ Johannesburg

I'm promoting anything that brings a bit of warmth into our days. Today the setup includes dough scented with orange blossom essential oil, star anise, cardamom and dried oranges. Now we're just missing some Masala Chai to complete the picture.

Strawberry scented playdough and a simple set-up with pieces of paper straws, cupcake liners, a knife, cookie cutter and strawberry buttons.
This little baker turned the dough into birthday cake (no cupcake liners needed, thank you!) and promptly started singing "happy birthday" so he can blow out the candles! 😍😍

Autumn nature treasure from the garden. Pops of colour thanks to the pomegranate tree, gooseberry bushes and our pastel handkite.
Walking around the garden and noticing the changes is one of our favourite things to do. Besides taking note of which plants and trees are changing colour, it gives us time to appreciate our surroundings and have a bit "quiet" time, even when that time is filled if "why?" and waving a colourful kite! 😊

This Dinosaur playdough kit has been all over. On this particular day we went out for pizza at a favourite play spot AND he was busy with his "work" until it was time to go home - then he was interested in all sorts of other games. We paired the kit with orange blossom scented playdough. And construction vehicles, because he goes nowhere without them.

It's almost Mother's Day! This is a great way to get extra love out of your flowers once they start to fade. We paired some rose scented dough with a white and pink rose, leaves, rose quartz and marble pebbles. A great conversation starter about recycling, re-using and repurposed items. Colours, textures, matte vs shiny and the smells of course. 🌹♥🌹♥
