The Tshidiso Top is almost here and will be available in just a few weeks! I’m so excited to finally share a first look at this design with you.

The Tshidiso Top is knit sideways in pieces and then joined together. The sleeves, neckline, and hem are finished with half-twisted rib, and the striped design keeps the knitting engaging from beginning to end.

The sample is knit in the beautiful Eco Cotton from Nurturing Fibres, giving the fabric a soft, breathable drape that’s perfect for warmer days.

I’ll be sharing more details, including yardage, sizing, and the release date, over the coming weeks. I can’t wait for you to cast this one on!

There’s something so special about revisiting older designs!

Over the next year, I’ll be reknitting and reimagining some of my earlier sock patterns, exploring fresh colour palettes and giving these favourites a new look. Choosing the yarn and colours is always one of my favourite parts of the process, and I can’t wait to share the journey with you.

If any of these patterns have been on your knitting wishlist, this is a lovely time to cast one on—they’re all currently 40% off on Ravelry and Etsy, with no coupon code required.

Which sock pattern would you recommend I start with?

It’s always amazing to see how the same pattern can take on a completely different personality with a change of yarn and colour.

The first Little Bow Socks were knit using Miss La Motte Twist Sock in Linen with Coop Knit Socks Yeah! in Argon. This latest pair is knit in Cascade Heritage using White (5682) and Tutu (5613). Same pattern, different mood.

Reknitting older designs has reminded me that sometimes all it takes is a fresh colour palette to experience a favourite pattern in a whole new way.

The Little Bow Socks Pattern is available on Ravelry and Etsy, and is currently 20% off for a limited time. No coupon code required.

One of the things I’ve been enjoying lately is reknitting some of my older patterns.

As designers, we’re often focused on what’s next—the next idea, the next sample, the next deadline. But there’s something wonderfully refreshing about returning to a familiar pattern without the pressure of writing notes, making edits, or meeting a release date.

I recently cast on another pair of Little Bow Socks, this time using Cascade Yarns Heritage in White (5682) for the main colour and Tutu (5613) for the contrast. It reminded me just how enjoyable this pattern is to knit. Watching each little bow appear is so satisfying, and a different yarn and colour palette gave the design a whole new personality.

Reknitting older patterns has become a way for me to slow down, enjoy the process, and appreciate designs that still bring me joy long after they’ve been published.

The Little Bow Socks Pattern is available on Ravelry and Etsy, and is currently 20% off for a limited time.

Pair the Namhla Top with linen pants or your favourite jeans for an effortless everyday look, or dress it up with tailored trousers, a pencil skirt, or a silk skirt for work, dinner, or a day out. Designed to move easily between casual and polished, it’s a piece you’ll reach for time and time again.

The pattern is available on Ravelry and Etsy.

One of my favourite things about the Namhla Cardigan is how easily it can be customised!

The sample is knit in neutral shades to create a cardigan that slips effortlessly into an everyday wardrobe, but a simple change of colour can give the design an entirely different character. A classic black cardigan with off-white stripes is already on my list — timeless, versatile and easy to wear with almost anything.

Choosing colours that reflect your personal style is one of the joys of knitting. The same pattern can feel beautifully understated in soft neutrals, bold and graphic in high contrast, or warm and earthy in tonal shades. It’s a reminder that handmade garments are as much about self-expression as they are about the finished piece.

Pattern available on Ravelry and Etsy.
