New beginnings…

Hi to all my new followers . I would like to introduce myself as the owner of Lily and Lace which is a brand that focuses on all things kids . We have broaden our horizons and have recently added Just sew Adorbz, Wanderlust soles and Plan Beach swimwear as part of the brand .

We have a long and exciting road ahead of us and hope it brings great success with it .

You've made it!
Pushed past the nausea and vomitting,
Sailed through 9 months of carrying a baby and overcame the pain of childbirth.

Everything is falling into place, the nurses are helpful, your baby is brought to you for feeds and is very sleepy.

You make your way home elated to have your little one with you at last.

Oh boy! You can't figure out why she's not the cucumber wearing, relaxed queen that you thought she'd be.

You quickly realise that babies cry an awful lot. Reflux and colic are legitimate problems and no matter how hard you try, burping a baby is way harder than rolling a perfectly round roti.

When the challenges kick in, we are here.

There is no shame in needing a helping hand. Super Mom is a great a title, but Happy Mom is a more meaningful title.

Lean on us for support through the tough times. We are here for you.

After all, selling a product means nothing to us, if we can't prove to our clients that we're so much more than just another brand for babies!

In a world that's controlled by engagement, likes and what others think of you, have you started parenting for 'likes'?

I know that there's nothing I appreciate more than the other adults in my children's lives, helping to point out and explain to my children, especially when it's behaviour related.

While the discussion of modern parenting vs parenting of the past still ruffles a few feathers, ask yourself this: Is your relationship with a child (whatever it may be, grandparents, aunties and uncles included) dependant on that imaginary 'like'.

We as a society are able to choose what is acceptable and what isn't, at the end of the day we truly are stronger together!

Although this range is sold out, I thought it fitting to post one last photo of these beauties who will be embarking on a new journey today.

Part of the reason that we haven't released our new range yet, is that we really don't know if we will find anyone as easy going and fun to work with than this family.

We wish all of you the very best as you take on Australia.

I think something most people don't realise. Is the amount of effort, love and hardwork that any small business owner puts into each and every one of the products they produce.

Many of us are a one or two person workforce that put in the overtime to make sure that we produce the best quality that we can.

For our product prices to be compared to cheaper department store prices, is a little on the unrealistic side.

To our loyal clients that have actually purchased a Just Sew Adorbz design and never tried to haggle our prices, we salute you.

To all my ladies who know the struggle of producing items that we sell at minimal profit just to get our names out there, double salute to you.

On a lighter note, our spring range is almost here, we will be producing 2 ranges this spring, our signature printed range and a muted, minimal range using lighter weight stretch fabrics for the active munchkins.

Same great fit, and a whole lot of love.
