God wants to "wrap His babies" in the promises of His Word. (Psalms 119:114 TPT- You’re my place of quiet retreat, and Your wrap-around Presence becomes my shield as I wrap myself in Your Word!)
Not knowing anything about sewing, I made every excuse, telling God that He did not have the right person for this job. In response, He just loved me. Being extremely aware of His gentleness and kindness,
I knew that even if I did not do what He asked of me, He would still love me. So I said: “Yes!"
I bought a sewing machine and some fabric and started what seemed to be the most back-breaking task in the world. It looked easy enough to sew a seam around a blanket, but with a low-quality machine and not knowing what I was doing, it took me almost 2 hours to make one blanket! {P.S. I still struggle. ;-) }
I persevered and eventually had a few blankets to donate. The Moses Blanket was born - Wrapped in the Promise of His Presence. And the LORD said, "My presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest." A Cost Worth Treasuring. It is hard to imagine the price that was paid for each person's life and freedom by Jesus. "You were bought with a price [you were actually purchased with the precious blood of Jesus and made His own]."
1 Corinthians 6:20 AMP
The Passion Translations says it like this:
"You were God's expensive purchase, paid for with tears of blood..." What does the above mean to us as believers? It means God values and loves us so much that it cost His Son's sacrifice and life. That is a Cost worth Treasuring! My mission: Spreading the Word of God and bringing awareness to the admirable work of Baby Savers South Africa. I believe we can speak and pray for God's promises over each baby at the very beginning of their journey. Prayers of God's Redemption, Presence, Joy, Favour, and much more! They are His Costly Treasures!
