Usually someone just wants a patch or so on one or two glove fingers........and even then , I want to run. It's time consuming and sometimes complicated.
Try and turn a leather glove finger inward out and you will see what I mean.
This customer not only wants one or two done........but all ten. 😣
Thank goodness the gloves are ###, so the turning went more smoothly.
Even still , this was an three hour + job.

OMG. Thank you Lord for protecting us.
For years , even more than a decade or so ago this support beam rotted at the bottom and sunk 3 cm. They done a quick fix.
Probably 5 five years ago I showed it to the Landlord.........it seem very sturdy enough so.......
About two weeks ago this really started bugging me..........and I was going to fix this the start of next week............but.......today my stomach turned.........on closer examination I noticed that the entire corner roof section was resting on a piece of corner and a couch screw on a piece of metal.......if this gives way.......the entire corner section including the door would give way.
And if that soft voice inside of you ( The Holy Spirit 😇) warns you to fix it NOW. Then do it NOW.
I learnt my lesson long time ago when I was "warned" that my shop was not secure..........and I did not listen.......they broke in and recked the place........

So let me tell this story.
A chap walks in my shop and says. " I'm told , if anyone can do it it's you , I have a challenge for you".
The land rovers prop shaft boot broke and they want to charge him R4000 to replace it. Can I make one with leather and a zip........🤔........yes sure , how difficult can that be....ja right , one hour and 50 Min later😳
My first attempt failed. You can't just draw out straight lines and join it.
My maths sucks.....and nevermind geometry calculating🤯
Eventually I go get a traffic cone across the street........and........quite a few moments later.........a DIY propshaft boot , 250mm on one side and tapered down to 150mm. I suggested he put gasket sealer on the inner side.🤔

These shoes were very faded and dull. Gave them a clean , polish and buff.
For now.........just basic clean and polish.🧐
