974 KM - 3 DAYS - 1 EPIC WEEKEND

It's been a crazy busy weekend for the Rockfox crew!

FRIDAY- After getting our final deliveries out, we packed up and hit the road to the Adventure Bike Festival!

We met up with a friend and kicked off the adventure with a ride over Du Toitskloof Pass. From there, it was pretty much tar all the way — we wanted to get to the festival as quickly as possible!

In Montagu, another rider joined us, and off we went!

After covering 317 km, we finally arrived, enjoyed a well-deserved dip in the pool and got ourselves settled.

Friday night's spitbraai was absolutely amazing! 🔥 After a long day, an early night was definitely on the cards.

SATURDAY⛰️

After a massive breakfast, we headed out with a small group for an incredible ride through Anysberg and Seweweekspoort!

332 km of adventure, breathtaking scenery and good company!

Once back at camp, we decided to give the gymkhana and slow races a go — for GEES, obviously! 😂

But a ride like Saturday deserves a post of its own! Keep an eye on our pages as we share more about the route, the scenery and the adventures along the way!

SUNDAY🌧️

We woke up to some rain, so the journey home was mostly on tar.

Another 325 km on the bikes, and just like that, our weekend adventure came to an end!

974 KM COVERED OVER THREE DAYS! 🔥

Three days of riding, good friends, great food and plenty of laughs. Exactly what adventure biking is all about!

Tonight, we're putting our feet up and getting some much-needed rest before another busy week at Rockfox!

But the adventure doesn't stop there! 👀

🏍️ ADVENTURE BIKE FEST 16-18 OCT 2026 – THE KAROO IS CALLING!

If you haven't made plans for this weekend yet, I've got something for you!

From the 16th to the 18th of October, the Adventure Bike Fest is happening at Karoo 62 Escape, and Rockfox is proud to be one of the sponsors!

And guys, this is looking like one seriously lekker weekend!

We're talking adventure outrides through the beautiful Klein Karoo, Yamaha and KTM demo bikes, a gymkhana, a slow race, skills challenges, competitions and some awesome prizes up for grabs!

And when the riding is done, the fun doesn't stop!

There's a spitbraai on Friday night, a lekker braai on Saturday, and live entertainment from Marisca Rain & The Thunder on Friday and Millennium on Saturday!

Now, here's the best part.

Tickets are R1,250 per person, and that includes your camping spot, two dinners and two breakfasts for the weekend!

So all you need to do is get your bike ready, pack your camping gear and bring your mates!

We'll be there representing Rockfox, so come say howzit, meet the team and chat all things adventure riding!

Some top tips and tricks for emergencies 🏍️🏃

In the rush to get to the Gun Run today, I realised I’d left my belt at home🤦‍♂️

Luckily, I always keep a cam buckle/BMW strap in the top box for emergencies- which now include keeping my pants up!

Adventure riding rule #1: Never underestimate the usefulness of a good strap.

Securing luggage one day, saving my wardrobe malfunctions the next🤣
