Weekend Recap from us! 🏍️✨

It was finally our turn to take the bike for a proper spin!

This weekend we joined the BMW Motorrad Cape Town Club for a gravel adventure.

We swapped our usual camping gear for something a little more luxurious this time — a stay at the beautiful Arniston Spa Hotel 🛏️🌊

After a hectic week, it was great to get out on the bikes, enjoy some gravel roads and take some time to unwind.

Batteries recharged, tanks full and we are refuelled and ready to take on another busy week at Rockfox!

The CFMOTO 1000 MT-X gets a proudly South African upgrade from

For this stage of the build, we're teaming up with Rockfox Adventure Systems, a South African adventure motorcycle accessory specialist producing and assembling their products locally.

Rockfox was established in Cape Town in 2013 as a specialised engineering workshop, and their experience as adventure riders themselves has gone into developing practical protection and accessories for adventure motorcycles. Their products are designed and assembled in-house, right here in South Africa.

For the CFMOTO 1000 MT-X, that means adding locally designed protection and adventure equipment to a bike that's destined for the kind of riding we love here in South Africa.

A massive thank you to Mike, Lindie and the Rockfox team for letting us spend the day with them documenting this process.

’n Nuwe seisoen bring nuwe roetes, nuwe uitdagings én nuwe vennote saam - en ons is baie opgewonde om Rockfox by die 1Spoor Avonture familie te verwelkom!

Wanneer jy onbekende terrein aanpak, is beskerming nie iets waaraan jy eers wil d**k wanneer dinge skeefloop nie. Dit moet reeds daar wees.

Rockfox ondersteun ons hierdie seisoen met "crash bars" en "protection plates" - toerusting wat gemaak is om belangrike komponente te beskerm wanneer klippe, diep spore en tegniese terrein deel van die dag raak.

Baie dankie aan die Rockfox-span dat julle saam met ons hierdie nuwe avontuur aanpak. Ons sien uit daarna om julle produkte behoorlik op die proef te stel gedurende Seisoen 3!
