AVAILABLE ✨ 1950s Poole Pottery Twintone platters in Mushroom. Two gorgeous pale pink platters in different sizes: the very large one is 36cm x 30cm and the medium one is 30cm x 25cm. They show very minimal signs of use; the large one had a shallow chip on the underside that has been nicely repaired. Both are marked with the Poole England backstamp.

Mid century Poole Pottery Twintone serving dishes.
An absolutely delicious range of tableware in Sepia (a milk chocolate brown) and Mushroom (described as “the pale biscuity pink found on the underside of edible mushrooms”. Available are two serving dishes, one with a lid and one without. Both are in excellent condition with minimal signs of use; they measure 23cm in diameter without the handles, and are 11cm tall. They have the Poole stamp on the underside which dates them to the 1950s.

Poole Twintone in Mushroom and Sepia ✨

AVAILABLE ✨ Villeroy & Boch ‘Albertina’ dinner and luncheon plates. This delicate vining floral pattern is just the thing for a glorious spring celebration. Albertina was manufactured by esteemed ceramics producers V&B between 1984 and 2001. Available are six dinner plates and five luncheon plates; there are also six mugs and six tea cups (not pictured) without saucers, for anyone interested in them. The plates are chip and crack free, and there is minimal wear to the painted florals. They were much-loved by their previous owner and have a fair number of utensil marks on them, and in the case of the luncheon plates, minor discolouration of those marks in some areas. As you can see from the photos, the wear and tear is not glaringly obvious at all. The lunching plates measure 24cm and the dinner plates 26.5cm in diameter.

AVAILABLE ✨ Vintage Sun Crown plates with ruffle edges. Five plates in romantic powder blue: one dinner plate, one luncheon plate and three side plates. They’re in perfectly imperfect condition - have a look at the individual photos - but are so pretty for serving tea-time treats. Measurements: 25.5cm, 21cm and 18cm in diameter.

1940s/50s Glasbake USA beehive whistling kettle. I’m a big fan of the ball and beehive shapes used in mid century homeware design so I find this kettle totally enchanting. It’s made of heat-resistant glass and has a metal collar and lid with what I think is a Bakelite finial. I haven’t tested the lid’s whistle, but I can if that’s a dealbreaker for you! A few signs of age like light scratches on the metal components, but it’s in incredible condition overall for a 75 or 85 year old kettle. 21cm tall, marked ‘Glasbake USA 104’ on the underside.
