🦋 FREEBIE: Leather Name Tag Instructions 🦋

So many of you loved the "Audrey" leather name tag, so I've put together free step-by-step instructions to make your own! It isn't an in-the-hoop design. You simply stitch a name onto leather, add a back with a little tab, topstitch, trim, and finish with a ring and a rivet. It makes a lovely gift or bag tag.

Which thread do you reach for most: rayon, polyester, cotton or metallic? 🧵 Tell me in the comments!

This week's Monday Master Class is all about the top thread, the part of your embroidery everyone actually sees. I compare the four main threads on sheen, strength, bleach and washing, explain what 40 wt vs 60 wt really means (the higher the number, the finer the thread!), and share a "which thread when" chart, my metallic tips and how I store my own thread wall.

My everyday thread? Polyester. When in doubt, a good 40 wt polyester and a test stitch-out will rarely let you down. 💜
