Our oh-so-beautiful vending machine is officially up and running! 🎉

While we're waiting for our custom wrappers to arrive, we've stocked it with a selection of snacks and ice-cold drinks to keep everyone going.

This machine isn't just about promoting the Inventibite brand—it's about making life a little easier for everyone working in our complex. No more walking kilometres just to grab a cooldrink or a quick snack.

Convenience is now right on your doorstep.
And this is only the beginning...

Very soon, these shelves will be filled with everything we're passionate about creating: ✨ Layered protein bars ✨ Snack bars ✨ Iced protein coffees ✨ High-protein desserts ✨ And so much more...

Watching an idea become reality is something really special. We're incredibly proud of how far we've come, and forever grateful to everyone who has supported us along the way. None of this would have been possible without God's grace, our amazing team, our clients, and everyone who believes in what we're building.

There's something different about using real produce... grown with love, respect for the land, and a passion for doing things the right way.

These pecan nuts we get from Bertie are in a league of their own. If you've ever seen them in real life, you'll know there's simply no comparison to the bulk pecans you find on a retail shelf. They're bigger, fresher, richer in flavour, and packed with natural goodness.

We use these beautiful Lowerland pecans in our Farmer Angus Protein Bars, and they completely transform the bar. The rich, roasted nut aroma and flavour shine through in every bite, creating something you just can't fake with ordinary ingredients.

At Inventibite, we believe that exceptional products always start with exceptional ingredients.

Growth in business is a beautiful thing... but sometimes the growth in expenses arrives long before the growth in cash flow. 😅

As production increases, so do the little (and not-so-little) costs. So we're constantly looking at where we can work smarter, save where it makes sense, and improve our cash flow... hopefully so my accountant can sleep a little better at night! 😂

First project? Solar.

Not because of load shedding or power outages, but because God blessed us with one thing the Kalahari has plenty of... sunshine. ☀️

The goal is simple: let the sun power as much of our factory as possible during the day, with only our night shift relying on Eskom. If we can make the sun work for us, why wouldn't we?

A massive thank you to my husband, Hendrik,for spending his Saturday making it happen. Between some proper boer maak 'n plan engineering and figuring out how to safely get onto our ridiculously high factory roof, they got the job done.

I'm incredibly grateful for you guys. Now comes the exciting part... seeing just how much of a difference this will make over the next few months.

One small improvement at a time. That's how businesses are built. 💙☀️🏭

Some flavours never go out of style... they just deserve a protein-powered makeover. 🤎

We've been working on a High Protein Malva Pudding inspired bar, and this one has us seriously excited.

✨ It all starts with a crunchy bottom layer that brings back memories of Ouma's old-school oat crunchie cookies... packed with texture, boosted with protein, and with no added sugar.

✨ Next comes an unbelievably smooth, silky protein layer with subtle notes of honey, maple and rich caramel that melts in your mouth.

✨ But the real hero? A luscious sugar-free custard filling with little bursts of apricot that tie everything together into pure comfort food nostalgia.

It's familiar. It's indulgent. It's comforting. Yet it's packed into a modern layered protein bar.

An oldie... but definitely a goodie. ❤️

This is exactly why I love creating products like these—taking flavours we grew up with and reinventing them into something completely new.

I honestly can't wait for the client to taste this one. I have a feeling it's going to be something really special.

The best way to start every shift...

Before a single ingredient is weighed. Before the first mixer starts. Before the first protein bar is made. Before the wrapping machines begin to run.

We gather.

Not because we have to. Because we want to.

Every day shift and every night shift at Inventibite starts the same way—with Scripture and prayer.

Because what are we without Him?
Every opportunity we've been given, every challenge we've overcome, every client we've gained, every lesson we've learned, and every bit of growth we've experienced has come through God's grace. None of it is by our own strength or wisdom.

As Scripture reminds us:
"Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain." – Psalm 127:1

We believe our factory is more than a place where protein bars are made. It's a place where people grow, where lives are impacted, and where purpose is lived out every single day.

Before production starts, we place the day in God's hands. We ask Him for wisdom, protection, unity, and excellence in everything we do.

Every bar that leaves our factory carries more than quality ingredients—it carries the prayers of a team that believes God is at the center of everything we do.

We are incredibly grateful for His provision, His faithfulness, and His blessing over Inventibite.

🎂 Birthday Cake vibes... on steroids. 🎉💥

Birthday Cake might be an old favourite, but we weren't interested in making "just another" Birthday Cake protein bar. We wanted to create something that would completely blow your expectations away.

It all starts with an incredibly soft, melt-in-your-mouth nougat-style protein layer, infused with smooth vanilla cake notes and colourful sprinkles that instantly bring back birthday party memories.

Then comes the crunch... a light, crispy layer packed with toasted textures and fluffy marshmallow flavours that add the perfect contrast to the soft centre.

Our dream just became a little more real... 💚

This afternoon our beautiful branded vending machine arrived, and I honestly couldn't stop smiling.

A huge thank you to the incredible team who delivered and installed it. Such friendly, professional people who made the whole experience even more exciting.

And the branding... wow! 🤯 It is even more beautiful than I ever imagined. Seeing the Inventibite name on a vending machine made all the hard work, long days and late nights feel so worth it.

Of course we couldn't resist giving it a quick test run with some of our team... let's just say the excitement was REAL! 😄 Watching everyone grab their snacks from our very own machine was a special moment.

This is only the beginning.

Sometimes it feels like the younger generation gets a bad reputation for not wanting to get their hands dirty.

I often think back to my own childhood. Nothing was ever handed to us for free. If we wanted pocket money, we worked for it. Back then I didn't always understand it and sometimes I even got upset and frustrated.

But today, I am incredibly grateful for the life lessons my parents taught me.

Nothing in life comes for free.

Work hard.
Don't give up.
And if you start something, you finish it — even when you don't feel like it.

I hope our own children will one day appreciate the same lessons Hendrik and I are trying to teach them… even though apparently we are the world's worst parents most of the time! 😂

Which brings me to today's point.

It was honestly refreshing to see two young boys who didn't want to spend their school holidays sitting at home. Instead, they wanted to work.

And shame… they got thrown straight into the deep end today! 😅

Because of hygiene rules and strict regulations, we can't allow them onto the production floor, but they have already proven to be a mean packaging team.

Hard work never hurt anybody, and who knows… maybe these school holiday jobs are where future entrepreneurs are born.
