My favourite Nguni Hide Bags are back in stock! Sipho has been busy making them up in his small factory downtown using the hides I sourced from . I am grateful that I get to work with such a talented man. The skill set associated with crafting leather is phenomenal. I love items that age with time, showing signs of character and wear, especially hides. The entire process intrigues me. From the animal, to the tanner, to the designing, cutting and stitching - each step is part of the journey. Please tag a friend who needs one before they sell out.

I love my neighbourhood; it is filled with great people - from the cobbler on the corner to my fellow dog walkers in Delta Park, to the old timers -the guys at Parkhurst Hardware and the petrol attendants at Shell. It’s vibrant yet peaceful. Interesting yet quaint. It’s home. 😍

Love this 😍There are so many things I’ll never take for granted again.... I’m a tactile person and not being able to hug people has been one of the hardest things for me. I also miss walking through a jostling, crowded market, bargaining to my heart’s content and being able to travel freely, wherever I want to go. What will you never take for granted again?

The magic of the sea... A few days into my mini holiday in Hermanus, and my mind is finally relaxed. I feel so lucky to stay in a place with the constant sound of waves breaking on the beach.
