Make an emergency car kit. This can include anything and everything but we suggest keeping a spare OSFM cover or two plus some cheap receiving blankets in a wetbag in the car. These can be used as a last resort cloth nappy or to clean up random messes ( and we all know that these can happen a LOT).

So many parents get in touch with me and ask, "what do I need?" and "what would it cost?" There is no "one-size-fits-all" answer to these types of questions and with the volume of information out there on different types, different brands and not to mention the weird lingo ( I'm talking AIO, LO, NIP etc), you really need someone to help...

Got stains? Use the sun - its you best natural whitener! Hang your wet, clean nappies in the sun, or in a sunny window. Spray some lemon water on them when they're still wet or rub some green sunlight bar soap on the stain to increase the whitening effects.
