This coming Saturday the 27th March 2021, I will be adressing learners (Grade 12 class of 2021) at Derek Kobe senior secondary school in Lebowakgomo about issues pertaining to securing a brighter tomorrow.

Taking 'A Dream Is A Serious Thing' to schools has always been my heart desire. By the way I survived being told I will never achieve anything in life when I was in grade 9, only to obtain a PhD in Science!!!

Dr Mphahlele wrote in his book "sometimes ridicule is necessary because although painful, it helps us to develop a thick skin; something we so desperately need in order to survive the harsh environment of the road that leads to our destiny".

What a day a beautiful day of empowerment and impartation...we had a packed day at G*e Afrika guest house where young people were able to put into perspective issues pertaining to self discovery, career guidance and counselling and identifying dream killers.

At Dr Morutse Mphahlele Visionary Dreamers Foundation we are grateful for what the Lord has done. This young people will soar and keep on soaring for the glory of God.

There is an urgent need to raise ethical, credible leaders in our generation!!!

Next stop is NorthWest province...Freestate, Mpumalanga and Gauteng here we come❤❤❤❤

A 'Dream is a Serious Thing: a trajectory of a dreamer has been well received throughout South Africa. Thank you all to those who supported this book project...The book continues to gain momentum because of your support and love for literature❤❤

'A Dream is a Serious Thing' has given birth to Visionary Dreamers Curriculum (a youth empowerment training and development initiative) and we will be running workshops throughout our beautiful country of South Africa in 2021and beyond. This workshop covers issues of career guidance and understanding the job market, your purpose in life, patriotism, identifying dream killers, etc.

The first workshop will be held in my home town, Lebowakgomo Zone F on the 18 and 19 Dec 2020 @ the beautiful G*e Afrika guest house opposite Mall@Lebo.

A big Thank you to all the partners who are coming forth to support Visionary Dreamers Curriculum in their respective provinces. You are doing well...together we are building South Africa❤

I believe that my passion for academics that led to achievement of a PhD in Science and my patriotism for South Africa will make a huge difference in the lives of young people that God allow me to come into contact with...

We thank God for his faithfulness. At Dr Morutse Mphahlele Visionary Dreamers Foundation we are shifting gears.

With the help of God, we have just printed a second batch of 'A Dream Is A Serious Thing' and it is ready for distribution.

With just over 200 copies already sold in a space of 1 month, we can only thank God for His grace! We are now preparing to take 'A Dream Is A Serious Thing' to schools across South Africa for the glory of God. We are unveiling a training manual based on teachings from 'A Dream Is A Serious Thing.'

Mathew 5:14-15 says, "You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house."

God remains faithful!!

We have just finished converting the book 'A dream is a serious thing' into a training manual (Visionary Dreamers Curriculum). This 60 pages training manual/workbook uses mind maps in a colourful yet powerful way to rub in a culture of hard work, resilience, perseverance and much more!!

Over a period of 2 days this youth empowerment training will cover the following:

10 aspects of Self-discovery including purpose, leadership, confidence, character development, etc

4 (four) aspects of career guidance and counselling including, self-exploration, understanding the job market, etc

It also covers identifying dream killers. Learning how to deal with fear, discouragement, self doubt, bad attitude, etc

Training package include:

1. A copy of a book 'A Dream Is a Serious Thing: a trajectory of a dreamer'

2. Visionary Dreamers Curriculum training manual/workbook

3. A note pad and stationery

4. Refreshments

This training stimulates a desire to dream and grow...

It takes you through a journey of self discovery

As a patriotic South African, I am convinced that God will use my education to affect the youth of our country in a positive way. I believe that many PhDs, Masters degrees, sports personalities, entrepreneurs etc, will come from Dr Morutse Mphahlele Visionary Dreamers Curriculum.
