Diesel Diesel: an iconic global brand in 80+ countries founded in 1978 for innovative denim.

We've evolved into a quality casual wear leader, offering diverse products from sunglasses to home goods, all embodying passion, individuality and self-expression. The company was founded by Renzo Rosso in 1978 with the intention of creating the most innovative denim in the world. In the midst of a world-class oil crisis, during which the alternative was supplied by diesel fuel, Renzo Rosso liked the idea of making his denim brand known as the alternative to traditional casual fashion giants. Since its foundation, Diesel has been the protagonist of amazing growth and from a pioneering company in the denim sector has evolved to establish itself in the world of quality casual clothing, becoming a real alternative to traditional luxury brands. To date, it offers a very wide range of products, including sunglasses, watches, perfumes, strollers, helmets and a complete line for the home. Despite its growth, Diesel's philosophy has remained unchanged over time: a brand synonymous with passion, individuality, and expression of its own personality.

Check, mate.

Denim, off-pattern. Tailored pieces get laser-traced with tweed checks. It's denim wearing someone else's pattern and still looking like denim.
