When I started writing Called to Create, I kept asking myself one question:
“Will this actually encourage someone?”
It’s one thing to have an idea. It’s another to put your heart on paper and trust that God will use it.
So, I sent one of the very first copies to a reader and asked for honest feedback.
She didn’t just tell me she liked it - she told me why.
One sentence especially stayed with me:
“Called to Create is less about building a successful business and more about becoming the kind of person God can trust with your calling.”
That perfectly captures the heart behind this guide.
I didn’t write it to help people chase success.
I wrote it to encourage Christians to trust God, take the next faithful step, and build businesses that reflect Christ in how they serve others.
One piece of feedback she gave me was to include more personal stories - and I think she’s right. That’s something I’ll be adding in future editions because I want every resource I create to keep getting better.
If you’ve ever wondered whether your work matters to God, or you’ve been putting off something He’s placed on your heart because of fear or self-doubt, I hope this guide reminds you that God isn’t looking for perfection. He’s looking for faithful obedience.
I’d love to hear from you:
What’s one step of faith you’ve taken that changed the direction of your life? 💜
