MATRIC FAREWELL DRESSES || TWINS || Elaine & Melissa

I recently had the privilege of working with two incredibly special clients — twins Elaine and Melissa. ✨
This experience was such a beautiful reminder of how uniquely God created each of us. Even identical twins carry something wonderfully individual — their personalities, their style, their presence. What a powerful expression of His love and creativity. 🤍

Although Elaine and Melissa are twins, their dress choices reflected their distinct personalities perfectly:
👗 Elaine chose a classic Renaissance-inspired gown — complete with a structured corset, puff sleeves and a full, dramatic skirt.
👗 Melissa opted for something more modern — a halter neckline with a high-low skirt that brought movement and elegance.

And yet, even while choosing different styles, they (unplanned) selected the same lace, just in different colours. A sweet and unexpected reminder of the unbreakable bond they share. 👩‍❤️‍👩

Wedding Dress || M E G A N

Earlier this year, I had the incredible privilege of working on a truly special project — recreating Megan’s wedding dress using her mom’s original gown. ✨

Megan, who lives in the UK, and her sister here in South Africa reached out to me with the heartfelt idea of transforming their mom’s wedding dress into something new for Megan’s big day. 💕 After a few Skype calls, countless messages, and lots of shared excitement across continents, we decided on a design that beautifully honoured their mom’s dress while giving it a modern, elegant twist.

Her sister, who lives here in South Africa, joined me in selecting the perfect lace to complement the new design. Using her mom’s original skirt and sleeves, I created a brand-new bodice and reimagined the dress with a fresh, timeless look.

Just a few days before the wedding, Megan came home for her fitting — and seeing it all come together was pure magic. 💕

This project holds such a special place in my heart. Thank you, Megan, for trusting me all the way from the other side of the world to bring your vision to life.
