2 vintage bubble glass table lamps.
This is an extremely rare vintage "Bubble" glass table lamp designed by Helena Tynell.
Tynell was a prominent Finnish glass designer who created these distinctive textured shades during the mid-20th century.
Key Characteristics:
The Glass Shade: Known as the "Bubble" or "Pala" design, it features an amber-tinted or clear blown glass structure with highly pronounced, rounded relief bubbles that beautifully distort and warm the light.
Manufacturer:
These signature glass elements were produced by renowned manufacturers like Glashütte Limburg in Germany and Riihimäen Lasi in Finland.
The Base: While the glass shade itself is an iconic piece of mid-century design, it was often mounted onto different types of bases depending on the specific model, production run, or aftermarket pairings.
