rld Cup in 2010 was realised and brainchild came about. The popularity of the merchandise sold by African vendors made the decision to start this clothing company to supply for the growing demand and the growing interest in the "Out of Africa" phenomenon an easy one. Nondu-Myeza-Orr hails from the heart of the Kwa-Zulu Natal province where she spent a few years developing her vision of what she thinks best represented the modern African flare without losing any of its authenticity. She found her inspiration within the five major South African tribes including Xhosa, iNdebele, Venda, seSotho and most notably the Zulu tribe. The later collaboration with co-founder Minky Whitehead came from a joint passion for exposing the work of the under-appreciated yet tremendously talented work of local designers, crafts people alike who do not have the means or opportunity to display their work on a global scale. The ZGG founders shared experience with travelling and working beyond the borders of Africa in the United States of America for over fifteen years for a reputable service orientated companies, this meant they were well equipped to handle the due processes involved with expending the appeal of a product on an international scale. ZGG has a vast range of products from casual clothing for the everyday African-inspired look, complete with matching accessories to wedding styles for the bride who chooses to embrace the alternative attire for her special day. There are professional looks for the up and coming corporate fashionista. There will be a launch at a later stage for home-line decorative products to bring the Africa aesthetic into every household.
