New country, new art lab, different way to create but still creating!
Couldn’t carry my sewing machine to Australia and there’s not so much room in the car (which is also my home) to get a new one! So here I am - crocheting like there’s no tomorrow! This is my favourite top so far 🧚🧚🧚

Why are you so happy Gess? - She asked.
Because this morning I’ve finally got new eyes!
I can finally see what I couldn’t see.

I know I know, thats sounds so silly - but how often do we forget how to get to this feeling?

I’ve been putting myself in so many messy situations and have always been able to take myself out of them.

It always takes one so long to remember the right code, and suddenly there it is, the one you forgot, the one you have been looking for in each drawer of your brain.

I can feel the wind blowing on my closed eyes, it’s giving me back all my strength. It makes me realise I’ve got everything I want and if I don’t, it’s just because I don’t really want it.

I have been vibrating so high in the past few weeks, I can feel it through the way people look at me on the streets, I can see my energy roll up all the people around me.

Today is my happy day, it may not be yours and that’s ok - because precisely these “not happy days” ultimately lead us to our good ones. I read somewhere it’s impossible to experience deep happiness without experiencing deep sadness too!

So here I am. In this picture - a sparkle of me.

Che bello ricevere tanti feedback positivi, specialmente quando crei qualcosa di nuovo e non sai se effettivamente hai comprato il materiale giusto, se hai cucito con il punto giusto, se hai disegnato il cartamodello adatto o se hai ben calcolato la vestibilità. Quindi grazie a tutte per avermi fatto sapere che il vostro corpo si è sentito a proprio agio in questo nuovo costume 🌊

Questa gonna nasce come prototipo di un vestito da cerimonia che ho realizzato lo scorso anno. Il tessuto l'ho comprato da un'azienda che spedisce pacchi con dentro resti random di stoffe.

Mentre stavo riordinando i miei innumerevoli progetti lasciati a metà, nel vano sotto la dinetta del mio camper, l'ho ritrovata e mi sono detta che dovevo farci qualcosa!

E allora mi è venuta l'illuminazione di cucirci questa lunga fascia che permette a questa gonna di essere super versatile!
