A time comes in everyones life when you receive an ‘AH HA’ moment! For some it is a bit like a lightening bolt and others more of a dim light switching on and then getting brighter and brighter. My ‘moment’ falls into the second category. Having left the bright lights and big city some years back and settling into the pastoral life of the Lowveld, I felt I was now ready to relaunch my design caree
r and get back into the swing of things. A few obstacles lay in my path to design bliss, location location location…….. hence the introduction of Bhzaonline. Beverley Hollard Originals designs available at your fingertips. My aim is to embrace the technology of social media and showcase a range of classic but exotic clothing suited to the modern woman. The range will consist of well cut, comfortable and totally wearable garments constructed mostly from quality natural fabrics. Capturing inspiration from a recent trip to Incredible India as well as drawing inspiration from the beautiful local of my design studio. The handwriting of this new endeavour has a strong afro-india influence. The range will incorporate a reinvention of all things hand made and hand crafted. Incorporating age old textile design techniques such as batik and shibori tie dye. In an age when personal identity is stifled by huge retail giants, you can be well assured that your garments will be unique, beautifully hand crafted and not mass produced!
