Cape Town, you’re invited 🤎

On Thursday, 10 September, we’re getting together at Gallery 65 on Loop Street to reveal something completely new from ROF.

Created by photographer and artist C A R O L I N E G I B E L L O, Gallery 65 is a beautiful, calm space in the middle of the city, filled with work inspired by Africa, its wildlife and landscapes. It felt like the perfect place for what we’re about to share.

The first 50 members of our community will get the chance to see it, try it and choose their favourite before it launches online.

Come have a drink, meet the ROF team and our community, and be one of the first to see what we’ve been working on.

I don’t think many people know just how obsessed I am with horses 🤎 And after years of loving them, I’m so happy we finally have our own.

So when and I decided to do another shoot together in the Netherlands and she suggested meeting at her friend’s farm (which just happens to be home to a whole lot of miniature horses), I didn’t need much convincing.

ROFs, the Dutch countryside and tiny horses? I was in.

Sometimes we still have to pinch ourselves when we see where ROFs end up 🤎

These beautiful photos were taken on Lamu Island, Kenya, aboard a traditional dhow by the incredibly talented Talisa Lanoe for V A S T.

And since then, we’ve finally had the chance to visit VAST ourselves. Seeing our ROFs sitting there in Kenya, so far from where they were made in South Africa, was one of those very proud moments.

Even better was seeing just how naturally ROF and VAST fit together. Two brands with a shared love for beautiful craftsmanship, adventure and products with a story behind them.

And finally getting to meet Sarah made it all even more special. We love where this ROF journey keeps taking us 🤎
