I’ve still got it 💪

Ever wandered how a pair of KJ Shorts are made..? Let me show you just the very first part (actually the 2nd or 3rd part) and the first pair of hands they go through..

On a personal note - if you are not yet aware, I have been really struggling with my health over the last 2 years. When I get moments of energy, I try to spend that energy wisely.

Boy, did this feel good..!! It’s also been years since I have been so hands on with the production of the goods and it’s great to know I’ve still got it..! Doing THIS brings my heart and soul so much joy.

It’s like riding a bike.! I even tested my measurements while freehand grading and they were spot on. After 30 years of being in the clothing industry, certain things just come easy (yes, 30 years of practice and hard work)..

Here’s a salute to ALL the tradesmen and tradeswomen in the Fashion Industry in South Africa.. Our Hey Day of a thriving industry may be over, but our passion and skill will die..!
