Madagascan-born master couturier Eric Raisina a sustainability designer showcased his Autumn/Winter 2020 collection at Africa Fashion International (AFI) Cape Town Fashion Week.

His collection was defined by its complex textures, an homage to the 1960s disco era, and a signature blend of African and Asian artisanal craftsmanship.

The Ituen Basi 2020 Collection, showcased on Day 3 of African Fashion International (AFI) Cape Town Fashion Week in March 2020, was a masterclass in eco-conscious African luxury and cultural storytelling.

Designed by Nigerian fashion pioneer Ituen Bassey, the collection successfully merged avant-garde shapes with wearable, high-end garments.

The overarching theme of AFI Cape Town Fashion Week 2020 was sustainability.
