School holidays are in full swing! And so is the apparent fridge door that someone left open out there 😅

While we work on finding someone to close it, we stay warm! ☕️🫖⛄️

Twice over the past few weeks at school pickup, I've had fellow Mamas pick fluff out of my hair. So funny! And the reason is that blanket orders have been flying fast and loose round these parts. I've processed over a hundred meters of fabric over the past two months. That's pretty impressive and really exciting!

Shipment three arrives from three different suppliers over the span of this week.

And now shipment four orders are opening! If you've not yet had a chance to order your blanket - now is your chance.

Send me a Whatsapp message and I'll send the print and plain colour options directly to you to choose from. Alternatively you can keep an eye on my page for stock blanket posts. There will be a few from every shipment batch.

All the ways we work to keep ourselves warm...

Listen - I think we can all agree that South Africans aren't built for cold. Give us our summertime Christmas garden parties, SPF one thousand 😜, fruity little sorbets and lazy days under a beach umbrella. This cold weather can really just... not.

Alas, here we are in our fleecy jammies, blankets up the w***o and waaay too much coffee. Not because we need the caffeine, no. Because we need the warmth!

I've spent part of Youth day finishing up an order to keep the "youth" warm. 😄😅

Antipill extra thick fleece went into some school tracksuits to make them cozy. It's no secret that these tracksuits are so pretty to look at but don't do much for warmth.

Spot that new machine I was telling you about in action! Like a hot knife through butter. 😍

I am so unbelievably excited about a new development at Neonbaby:
I've upgraded to an industrial blanket machine! Now we can produce them with more ease and speed. Absolutely stoked!

It has been mountains of fluffy fabric, tens of thousands of stitches, crawling around (get those squats in!); packaging and very excitedly shipping and also handing over in person.

Blankets are in FULL SWING!

These are a small handful of the 30 blankets that are going out between last week and this week.

I'm ordering more fabric next week - let me know if you'd like to order yours and we'll get you on the next shipment list asap!

These lovely bibs went out recently to one of our local Obstetricians. She gifts them to her patients and I think that's such a special little joy and prayer to share with them at the foothill of their new journey.

Made with 100% cotton fronts, embroidered and backed with absorbent toweling, they're not only pretty but practical too.
