Seaforth Beach is south of Simon's Town and another popular False Bay beach to swim from. The beach is close to Boulders Beach and accessed by driving south of Simon's Town on Simon's Town Main Road.

Once parked up there is a short walk down to the beach where there are plenty of grassed areas to relax or picnic at. The Seaforth Restaurant is also situated here and enjoys wonderful views from its deck.

Seaforth Beach is a fairly quiet and protected beach from the wind and swell but gets deep once moving out to the nearby Seaforth Reef. You can often see the Penguins taking their morning swim from this Beach.

There are wonderful kelp forests to explore at Seaforth Beach but if going offshore please remember to wear a tow float for visibility. This stretch of coastline is particularly popular with paddlers and boats. Safety first always!

See you for a swim soon

Weekends are for ATB Adventure Swims!

On Sunday 5 July we hosted another wonderful Adventure swim. This time we swam from Fisherman's Beach and did our FAF's loop. 2km of pristine swimming conditions greeted our intrepid swimmers. Whilst the water temp was measured between 13.8C and 14.5C there was at least some winter sunshine to take the edge off!

Swimmers were treated to some rare sightings of Red Roman fish and Stingrays also. We also had a Humpback whale breach off shore from Fisherman's on the morning which is always a special sighting. Our Team of Cape Town Watermen guided and kept our swimmers safe as always.

The Cape Winter months of June to August always deliver phenomenal days for swimming and exploring the Western False Bay coastline.
