So you’ve been following the sometimes-up-sometimes-down journey of VOSK, especially relating to us tirelessly trying to make local production a viable reality.
We’ve managed to pull it off(yay!). But, as always in life there is a “but”.
We have come to the conclusion that our local factory is really struggling with our canvas uppers as they actually specialize in leather footwear. That’s where they flourish.
Secondly, we have established that the canvas sneakers are not financially viable(currently) for us to manufacture and make enough of a profit to sustain and grow the business. However, we are working on a solution to bring you canvas sneakers again as soon as humanly possible.
To alleviate the challenges above, we are now joining hands with our factory to bring you premium full-grain leather sneakers. You’re gonna love it! And as always, all materials are locally and sustainably sourced.
Most importantly, we keep our focus on our core “why”, which will always be “With every pair purchased, VOSK will give a new pair of shoes to a child in need”.
