At Sweet Paws we strongly believe rescue groups are stronger TOGETHER. 🐾❤️
Please support Glen-Graze Rescue Sanctuary sterilisation mission by dropping off donations at Strand Animal Hospital or Gordon Road Veterinary Clinic marked “Glen-Graze”.
Collars, leads, blankets, kennels, bowls, food and parasite treatment can truly help save lives. 🙏
Those heartbreaking moments when you realise you cannot save them all, but you can sure as the sun will shine tomorrow try!
One of the cruel aspects of unsterilized female dogs is that a dog can get pregnant as early as 6 months of age, which is when most reach sexual maturity and experience their first heat cycle. A heat cycle lasts roughly 2 to 3 weeks.
However, smaller breeds can go into heat as early as 4 months, while giant breeds may not have their first cycle until they are 18–24 months but still all these dogs are only puppies themselves. Will it be fair to expect your teenager to fall pregnant and deliver a healthy litter of babies?
Please support Glen-Graze Rescue Sanctuary in their mission to educate owners to be wise and sterilize 🙏
Our next steri run will commence soon but we are in desperate need of unwanted or extra collars and leashes, blankets, kennels, beds, feeding bowls, parasite control and food.
Donations can be dropped off at Strand Animal Hospital and Gordon Road Veterinary Clinic marked Glen-Graze please. Your donation can improve, change or even save a life by preventing unwanted litters.
Should you wish to contribute to our veterinary accounts, please WhatsApp 0822613355 - make your donation count 🙏🙏
