Let’s stop lying to ourselves. There is no black school in South Africa without white curriculum. Not one. And let’s not talk about homeschooling, because that only reaches a few African kids while millions are still trapped in the system. I’m talking black-owned, black staff, curriculum rooted in African literature, African history, African psychology, African-centered pedagogy. No white authors, no white worldview, no white influence in the books. Period. Until we build that, we’re just raising colonised kids in black skin. (50 years later)
