"You are hotter than July."

When I saw this sign, I laughed..because seriously since I have arrived in France a few weeks ago, it has been really really hot🥵)…and then thought, what if we spoke to ourselves like that more often?

Not in an arrogant way.

In a loving, playful, "I'm on my own team" kind of way.

Self-love isn't waiting until you've lost the weight, achieved the goal, or reached a certain age.

It's looking in the mirror today and saying:

"I'm pretty fabulous as I am."

So here's your reminder:
You're hotter than July.
More radiant than you realise.
And entirely worthy of your own admiration. ❤️

Let me know if you are keen to try it?

Your wardrobe is speaking to you every single day.

The question is… what is it saying?

I've spent the past few months surrounded by creativity, meaningful conversations, and women courageously stepping into new chapters of their lives. One thing I've noticed again and again is this: our clothes hold power.

Not because they define our worth, but because they influence how we feel, how we carry ourselves, and how confidently we show up in the world.

Your wardrobe can remind you to stay small… or encourage you to take up space.
Perhaps it's time to gently let go of clothes that belong to a previous version of yourself and make room for pieces that reflect who you are today—and who you're becoming.

What message do your clothes send you when you get dressed in the morning?❤

"It's not how old you are. It's how you are old."
Jules Renard

One of the greatest gifts of getting older is caring less about fitting in and feeling more comfortable standing out.

Today I am celebrating friendship, confidence and the joy of wearing colours that make our hearts sing. My lovely friend and I have never believed that style has an expiry date. If anything, we've become bolder, more playful and more ourselves with every passing year.

Ageing isn't about becoming invisible.

It's about becoming more visible as the person you truly are.

Here's to colourful wardrobes, colourful friendships and living life in full colour.
How has your style evolved over the years?❤

Bold and beautiful.🌟🌈☀️

That was the brief.

And when a client gives me permission to embrace colour, pattern and personality, I am in my happy place!

In this project, we layered no fewer than 10 different patterns throughout the space.

The secret? It's not about matching—it's about creating a conversation between colours, scales and textures so that every element feels connected.

From florals to geometrics, stripes to organic motifs, each pattern brings its own energy while contributing to the story of the room.

A home should never feel flat. It should feel alive, personal and full of character.

Swipe through to discover the 10 patterns that made it into the final design.

PART 2: How I turned a traditional indian Kanta blanket into a coat😻

Before I started cutting, I first checked that I had enough fabric. There's nothing worse than getting halfway through a project and realising you're short!

To make things simple, I used the mohair blanket coat I made last year as my pattern. It's a very straight, relaxed shape, so it was easy to lay it on the blanket and trace around it.

The sleeves are raglan sleeves, which makes the construction much simpler and gives the coat a lovely casual fit.

I did have to make the sleeves slightly shorter than my original pattern because I was running out of fabric. But no stress — sometimes these little adjustments become part of the design.

Once everything was cut out, I assembled the front and back panels first, then attached the sleeves, and finally joined the two sides together.

And voilà! A brand-new coat made from a beautiful vintage Kanta blanket.

I absolutely love giving these traditional Indian textiles a new lease on life and transforming something that was once forgotten into something that can be worn and enjoyed every day.

What easy sewing project can you share with me?❤️

When did getting dressed become so serious?

As children, we mixed colours, patterns and accessories simply because they made us happy. We dressed for imagination, not approval.

Somewhere along the way, many of us traded curiosity for caution.

We worry about age, body shape, trends, expectations and what other people might think.

But style isn't about following rules.

It's about expressing who you are today.

If your wardrobe feels uninspiring, overwhelming or disconnected from the woman you've become, it may be time for a re-style.

My one-on-one online styling sessions are designed to help you reconnect with your personal style, rediscover the hidden gems already in your wardrobe and bring the fun back into getting dressed.

Because style should never feel like a chore.

It should feel like coming home to yours.

As I start packing for my annual trip to France, there are a few pieces that make it into my suitcase every single year.

These mohair jerseys are two of them.

A few years ago, I discovered the beautiful locally made knitwear from Luminous Ware | Mohair & Merino Wool Knitwear and bought the pink Jackie jersey.

It quickly became one of the hardest-working pieces in my wardrobe. This year, I added the duck egg blue version, and both are coming along for the adventure.

What makes them so special?

✨ Feather-light to travel with
✨ Soft and cosy without being bulky
✨ Perfect for layering over a T-shirt or dress
✨ Easy to tuck into a handbag for cooler summer evenings
✨ Versatile enough to wear as a scarf when needed

I often talk about building a wardrobe filled with pieces you reach for again and again.
These are exactly that.

Beautifully made. Timeless. Practical. Joyful to wear.

Now, back to packing... France is calling! 🇫🇷

Bubblegum pink has quietly become my winter colour crush 💗
While I love a bold fuchsia in summer, this softer pink feels fresh, playful and surprisingly versatile for the cooler months.
Here are 5 colours I love pairing it with:
🖤 Black & white stripes
💜 Purple
💚 Apple green
🩵 Duck egg blue
🩶 Medium grey

A reminder that colour doesn't have to disappear when winter arrives. Sometimes the softest shades make the biggest statement.

Which combination is your favourite?❤️

Want to start mixing patterns with confidence?🤔

My easiest tip:

Start with pieces that have at least one colour in common.

Here I've mixed checked trousers, a leopard-print turtleneck and a tweed blazer. They all share warm tan tones, which makes the combination feel intentional rather than busy.

The finishing touch? A silk scarf and brooch that repeat the colours throughout the outfit and bring everything together. ✨

Are there beautiful pieces hanging in your wardrobe that you never know how to wear together?

Sometimes all you need is a fresh pair of eyes.

Send me a message if you'd like help rediscovering your wardrobe. ❤️
