We were invited today to see the progress of the field hospital in Khayelitsha, for which we made the partitioning walls and the movable screens, which will be used to provide privacy for bed washes, medical procedures, and sadly, management of morbidities. 60 beds become available for use on Mon, 1 June 2020.

The managing doctor and project manager told us in separate conversations that they were very happy with the screens. 😃

Eezee Shade stepped out of our comfort zone to assist Doctors Without Borders (MSF) with the infrastructure of a field hospital in Khayelitsha.
We sourced materials during hard lockdown (under license!!), and built and installed screens according the MSF floorplan. The stone-in-wire-mesh back wall of the stadium had to be covered too. All manufactured by 3 people in 5 days, and installed in 2 days.
