💙 67 Minutes of Change – Growing Hope, One Garden at a Time 🌱
On Friday, River Square had the privilege of spending a meaningful Mandela Day with the children from Catherine Robson Children's Home at River Branches Park.
Throughout the day, the children learnt about the importance of indigenous trees, received a planting tutorial, and enthusiastically planted seeds and vegetable seedlings in the community garden. From watering their vegetables to proudly placing name sticks beside what they had planted, the day was filled with learning, laughter and unforgettable memories. 🌿✨
A heartfelt thank you to our retailers and community partners, including Builders, Mr Price, Panarottis, and the Golden Triangle Chamber of Commerce, for joining us and helping make this initiative so special.
The children were then treated to lunch and refreshments, generously sponsored by Panarottis, before ending the day with some well-deserved fun at our Retro Arcade activation. 🎮🍕
Together, we didn't just plant vegetables – we planted hope, kindness and a legacy that will continue to grow within our community. 💚
