A little trip down memory lane...
Long before Be Loved by Normsie had a name, there was simply a woman, a crochet hook, a ball of yarn, and a love for creating beautiful things.
These hat and scarf sets were crocheted by me between 2015 and 2017. Looking back, I smile because I can already see the style I still love today—soft textures, cosy comfort, and handmade pieces created to be worn, treasured and enjoyed.
Every project, whether old or new, has helped shape the maker I am today, and I'm excited to continue sharing this journey with you, one stitch at a time.
While every stitch was crocheted by my own hands, these treasured handmade pieces have been lovingly presented with a little help from my AI tjomma, allowing me to share them in the Be Loved by Normsie style while staying true to the craftsmanship behind every creation.

Crocheted stitch by stitch with love, its airy texture creates a relaxed fit that's comfortable to wear while still feeling beautifully feminine.
Every piece I create is handmade by me, and thoughtfully styled with a little help from my AI tjomma.

🤍 A Friendship Restored 🤍
Some pieces become more than just handwork.
I made this mosaic mirror during a season when life felt incredibly heavy. It reminds me that even in our darkest chapters, God has a way of bringing the right people back into our lives at exactly the right time.
This mirror became a gift of gratitude for a friendship that has grown stronger than ever—a friendship filled with daily conversations, laughter, tears, encouragement, and a gentle nudge back towards faith when I needed it most.
Every tile was placed by my own hands with love and purpose.

🩵 Some creations never leave your heart...
This was only my second mosaic project, and all these years later it's still hanging in my home.
Every tiny piece of glass was placed by hand, one at a time, while I learned, experimented and slowly found my own style. Looking back now, I can see the little imperfections... but I can also see the excitement, the determination and the joy that went into creating it.
I could never part with this mirror.
It reminds me that every handmade journey starts with one brave step... and that beautiful things don't have to be perfect to be loved.
This mirror still brings me joy every single day, and I hope it always will. 🤍

Coastal Blue 💙
Sometimes the best ideas begin with a simple conversation between Norma Kuipers and her AI friend, Tjomma.
This little basket started as a "what if?"... followed by lots of brainstorming, a few frogged stitches, different hooks, plenty of coffee, and a determination to create something that felt beautifully Be Loved by Normsie.
Every stitch was still crocheted by my own hands. The ideas grew together, but the making was all heart.
