Die klein oorskiet lappies wat normaalweg weggegooi word kan met borduursteke in uitbundige kleur verander. Self die skoenlappers hou daarvan. En so is van my oorskietlappie borduur stukke toe op uitstalling by Noordhoek gallery se uitstaling met die tema "Threads from home". Small left over pieces of fabric, that can be used for very little, becomes a burst of color with the help of embroidery stitches. Even the butterflies visit to inspect. Some of my left over rescue pieces are on display at Noordhoek gallery with the theme "Threads from home".
