episode Two

In his expansive, high-end office, the young CEO stood by the floor-to-ceiling glass windows, gazing out at the cityscape below, lost in thought. His tailored suit exuded sophistication, and his gaze seemed absorbed in deep contemplation. The office, a testament to his success, was immaculately arranged, with sleek lines and minimalist decor.

Trophies and accolades adorned the shelves, telling the story of his remarkable journey to the top. A gleaming glass trophy case showcased awards for "Entrepreneur of the Year" and "Most Innovative Business Leader." A prestigious Forbes magazine cover featuring his photo hung framed on the wall, alongside certificates of achievement and recognition from industry peers.

His name, emblazoned in bold letters on the glass partition, "Min-Soo, CEO," seemed to echo the aura of authority and excellence that filled the room. The polished wooden desk, adorned with a few carefully selected, high-end gadgets, reflected the CEO's keen eye for detail and innovation. As he stood there, the city's vibrant energy seemed to pulse through the glass, a reminder of the dynamic world he navigated with finesse.

Min-soo, a name synonymous with wealth and business intelligence in Korea, stands as the sole heir to the vast empire of Jung Industries, a large company founded by his visionary parents. With a diverse portfolio spanning technology, real estate, and finance, Jung Industries is a household name, symbolizing excellence and innovation.

Tragedy struck when Min-soo was just a teenager; his parents perished in a plane crash, leaving behind a will that left their vast fortune to Min-soo and his younger sister. This decision, however, did not sit well with their uncles, who had long harbored expectations of inheriting a significant portion of the family wealth. Despite receiving substantial assets, including companies, houses, and money from Min-soo's father, the uncles' greed knew no bounds. They coveted more, driven by jealousy and a sense of entitlement.

Min-soo, renowned for his intelligence and strategic prowess, outsmarted his uncles at every turn. Their attempts to undermine him, disguised in feigned benevolence, were consistently stopped by Min-soo's sharp business intelligence. He remained a step ahead, safeguarding the family legacy and expanding its reach.

Personal tragedy struck again when Min-soo's sister, his only sibling, succumbed to brain cancer shortly after giving birth to a baby girl. Her husband abandoned her on her deathbed, leaving Min-soo to fulfill a promise to his beloved sister: to care for her child as his own. With a sense of duty and love, Min-soo welcomed his niece into his life, determined to provide her with the love, protection, and opportunities she deserved. As he navigated the complexities of parenthood, Min-soo's world expanded beyond business, filling with the warmth and joy of family.

Min-soo stood lost in thought when a knock at the door broke the silence. His personal assistant entered, bowing slightly.

"Sir," he said, awaiting Min-soo's acknowledgment.

Min-soo turned, moving to sit behind his desk with his leg crossed.

"Did you get the information?" he asked, his tone firm but laced with urgency.

"Not yet, boss. We're still investigating."

"How long do I have to wait? It's been months," he said, his patience wearing thin.

"I'm sorry, boss."

Min-soo's mind wandered back to that night. He had woken up in a hotel room, disoriented, and found a mysterious woman had left. The sight of bloodstains on the sheet had left him stunned, wondering who she was and how she'd ended up in his bed. He had come to the hotel late after a business trip, too tired to drive home.

He assigned his PA to investigate, desperate to find her and ease his guilt. Months had passed, but the memories lingered. He recalled her touches and kisses vividly, and despite his engagement to one of his business partner's daughter, he couldn't shake off the feeling she'd left him with.

"I don't care how long it takes, find her".

"Yes, boss," The PA nodded, dropping the files he brought on the desk, before leaving the office, leaving Min-soo to his thoughts.

______

As Soo-jin arrived at the exclusive mansion, the gates swung open to welcome her. She stepped into the grand building, marveling at its stunning architecture. Upon reaching the door, she rang the bell and waited. An elderly lady answered, and they exchanged warm smiles.

"Annyeonghaseyo," Soo-jin greeted with a respectful bow. The lady ushered her in, equally impressed by Soo-jin's elegance.

As they sat down, the lady introduced herself as the house caretaker.

"You're here for the nanny position, I presume?" she asked.

"Yes, ma'am."Soo-jin nodded.

"Your main responsibility will be taking care of little Ji-mi, the boss's daughter. You'll need to ensure her safety, help with her homework, and keep her room tidy," she explained.

"Yes, ma'am. I understand," Soo-jin replied.

"There are certain rules to follow around the house. Please respect the boss's privacy and personal space." She then took Soo-jin on a tour of the mansion, eventually stopping at the boss's room.

"Please note, you're not allowed to enter this room without permission," she emphasized. "Only the boss's daughter and I have access. The boss values his privacy highly."

"Understood, ma'am," Soo-jin said, nodding.

The caretaker then showed her to the little princess's room, mentioning that the child would return from school soon.

"We have about thirty minutes to prepare lunch. Little Ji-mi loves simple but nutritious meals. You can start preparing something light for her."

As they wrapped up the tour.

"Am I starting today?"

"Yes, you are. I think you'll fit in well here, and I'm sure little Ji-mi will love you."

"Thank you, ma'am," Soo-jin said, feeling a sense of relief. "However, I didn't bring my clothes since you mentioned I'd be starting today. May I go home to fetch them?"

"Of course, dear. Your room will be ready when you return. We'll prepared meal first for the boss and little Ji-mi's arrival."

"Thank you, ma'am. Soo-jin nodded, feeling welcomed and appreciated.

In the kitchen, Soo-jin assisted the caretaker, Mrs. Ha-yoon, in preparing a delicious meal for Min-soo and his daughter, Ji-mi. Mrs. Ha-yoon was impressed by Soo-jin's cooking skills and felt reassured that she had found someone capable of caring for the family.

After finishing up in the kitchen, Soo-jin rushed back home to gather her belongings. She was overwhelmed with the job offer, but the salary was more than she had expected. It would be enough to save up and take care of herself. Soo-jin's thoughts drifted to her past, and the pain that still lingered. Her parent's family had disowned her, blaming her for the tragic accident that took her parents lives. The guilt and grief still weighed heavily on her heart.

Despite the challenges she faced, Soo-jin had persevered, working hard to fund her education. Luckily, her parents had sent her some money before the tragedy, which had helped her sustain herself through school. With a newfound sense of determination, Soo-jin packed her bags and returned to the mansion.

Later, Min-soo and Ji-mi sat at the dining table, awaiting their meal. Mrs. Ha-yoon served them, and Ji-mi immediately noticed the aroma.

"Granny, this meal smells different," she said.

"Yes, dear. Try it and see if it's delicious."

Min-soo and Ji-mi took their first bites and were amazed by the flavor.

"Hmm, this is delicious, Granny," Ji-mi said. "Did you change your secret recipe?"

"No, child. The new nanny prepared this meal."

"You found a nanny already?" Min-soo asked

"Yes, she was interviewed today," Mrs. Ha-yoon replied.

"She cooks well! I think I like her already. Where is she?"Ji-mi's eyes lit up.

"She went home to get her things."

"Okay, I can't wait to meet her." She said, continuing to eat. Mrs Ha-yoon smiled and walked away, watching them enjoy the meal.

Hours later, Min-soo was in the living room, watching TV and talking on the phone with a client. The doorbell rang, but he ignored it, too engrossed in his conversation. When the doorbell rang again, he stood up and made his way to the door.

As he opened it, he was met with a warm smile from Soo-jin. Their eyes locked, and for a moment, they felt a spark of connection.

The party club was booming with loud music as people danced and partied, excitement was in the air. Three beautiful ladies were in the bar, drinking and chatting with one another as they cheered to every moment.

"What is taking Soo-jin so long to get here?" Mimi asked.

"Maybe she lost her way again," Yoon-ah said, and they laughed in mockery.

"She is so naive and stupid, I wonder why we still have her in our peer," Ji-soo said

"What do you expect, she has nowhere to go or who to be friends with, since the death of her parents in a ghastly motor accident with her brother, she has been struggling to survive, we are the only friends she got," Yoon-ah said.

"Let's not worry about it, tonight is the night," Mimi said.

"I can't stand her and her smell," Ji-soo said, wrinkling her nose in distaste.

"This is the only chance to be among the classic crew, once we get this job done," Mimi said. Her eyes gleaming with ambition.

"Exactly," ji-soo said, and they cheered, their laughter and chatter filling the air.

And then her cell phone beeped with an incoming message.

"Hmm, speaking of the devil, she is here," she said, a sly smile spreading across her face as they smirked in unison.

Just then, Soo-jin entered the party, wearing a casual outfit, looking descent and shy. She scanned around the place and caught sight of her friends in the bar, drinking and chatting. She smiled and walked up to them.

"Hey, sorry I'm late," she said with a bow, and they smiled forcedly at her.

"It's okay, you're here anyway," Mimi said and welcomed her to sit in one of the chairs.

"I thought you guys said we were hanging out in a quiet eatery, why a bar?" Soo-jin asked.

"We got a change of heart, we heard this place is nice with celebrities and billionaires coming in and out, so I said, let's give it a try and get lucky," Ji-soo said, and the rest nodded in agreement.

"Okay, if you say so," Soo-jin said, smiling politely.

"Let's get you a drink," Yoon-ah said, and Soo-jin tried to refuse.

"Oh, come on, it's not going to be harmful, we've been friends since high school, since it's our graduation night, why don't we have fun? Besides, you can see others from our school mates having fun," Mimi said, her voice persuasive.

"Okay, if you say so," Soo-jin said.

The ladies ordered more drinks and forced her to drink. She drank one gulp and found it burned her throat, since it's her first time tasting alcohol. They continued forcing the drink on her mouth, and she kept drinking with them.

As the night wore on, Soo-jin became a little tipsy, and they went to the dance floor to dance the moment away. While they continued dancing, Ji-soo moved to the bar to get more drinks. She spiked one of the drinks without anyone seeing her and moved to the others on the dance floor, giving them their drinks. She gave the spiked one to Soo-jin, who, though already tipsy, gulped it all down and continued dancing.

The girls smirked as they watched her, their eyes gleaming with a sinister intent. Soon after, Soo-jin passed out, but they were quick to grab her and carry her out of the party.

They carried her out of the club and came to the balcony, carrying her to one of the rooms. They got to the room, opened it, and carried her inside, laying her down on the bed exhausted.

"She is quite the heavy type," Ji-soo said, panting slightly.

"Let's hurry up and call Dong-hyun here, we don't have much time," Yoon-ah said, pulling out her phone.

They went outside, and Yoon-ah chatted with Dong-hyun on the phone. They left, shutting the door behind them.

Some moments later, Soo-jin opened her eyes weakly and managed to sit upright on the bed as the drugs started reacting on her body. She got up from the bed, her head spinning, and started staggering towards the door.

She opened it and came out, her surroundings blurring and spinning. She continued to walk her way along the corridor until she got to another door and entered the room. It was dark, with only the moonlight from outside reflecting on the room.

"Help me," she murmured, finding her way to the bed. She climbed onto it, seeing someone on the bed. The face of the person wasn't clear to her.

The young man, taking a nap on the bed, was caught off guard to see someone in his room. Before he could speak, she shut him up with a kiss. He rolled her over onto the bed, trying to know who she was, but the room was dark.

"Help me," she said, rolling onto him as she continued to assault him. The young man tried to resist by pushing her off, but he couldn't, as his body betrayed him, and he gave in.

Meanwhile, Mimi and the rest, along with Dong-hyun, stopped by the doorway.

"She is in there, don't forget to send a video of it to us," Mimi said, her voice low.

"Don't worry, I got it," Dong-hyun said and went inside while the girls smiled at each other.

Just as they turned to leave, Dong-hyun rushed out and called them. They moved to him.

"What is it?" Ji-soo asked.

"Are you girls playing a prank on me?" Dong-hyun asked, his voice stern.

"What do you mean?" Yoon-ah asked, confusedly.

"You told me she is in the room, but she is not there," he said, his eyes scanning the area.

They went inside to see he was right.

"Where did she run off to?" Mimi asked.

"Are you ladies sure you spiked her drink?" Dong-hyun asked.

"Yes, I did," Ji-soo said.

"Where could she have disappeared to?" Yoon-ah asked, and they started looking around.

__________

The next morning, she woke up disoriented, her eyes blurry. As she sat up in bed, she realized the room was unfamiliar. Turning to her side, she saw a man sleeping beside her. Shocked, she gasped, wondering what had happened. Lifting the duvet, she discovered she was naked and felt pain below. The realization dawned on her - she'd given herself to a stranger. Quietly gathering her clothes, she dressed and slipped out, limping in pain.

After arriving at her apartment by taxi, she rushed inside, still hurting. In her bathroom, she turned on the shower and sat under it, crying tears of regret.

Days passed, and she isolated herself, refusing to leave her room or answer her door. She spent her days crying and regretting what had happened.

Weeks passed, and as she slowly healed, she decided to visit Mimi, hoping to understand what had happened at the party. As she approached Mimi's house, she hesitated outside the door, overhearing a conversation that made her blood run cold.

"Where do you think she is? It's been weeks, and no one's heard from her," Yoon-ah said.

"I'm scared she might have gotten hurt," Ji-soo replied.

"Mimi, did you put the substance in her drink?" Yoon-ah asked.

"Yes, I did. Doon-hyun suggested it so he could...take advantage of her without her realizing," Mimi said, her voice dripping with malice.

"Our plan failed," Ji-soo said, disappointed.

"I think another man got to her first. She was intoxicated, and...she might have given in," Mimi said, her words cutting deep.

"Serves her right. She's too naive and stupid," Yoon-ah spat. "She's just bad luck."

"Exactly. I can't stand her," Ji-soo chimed in.

"I wish Doon-hyun was the one who...laid with her and sent the video to us. She'd hate herself once it went viral," Mimi said.

"The mistake was leaving her alone in the room. One of us should have waited," Yoon-ah said.

"Trying again next time," Mimi said.

Soo-jin's world shattered as she listened. She stumbled away, tears streaming down her face. Why did those she called friends harbor so much hate? Lost in thought, she wandered the streets, her heart heavy with betrayal.
