ALL THE BEST MY DEAR FRIEND CHARLES KAKOMA

We have been notified of the departure of our former party spokesperson Hon. Charles Kakoma who has today exercised his democratic right to join the PF.

For me, Hon. Kakoma was not only a senior UPND party official, but remains a good friend of mine dating back to our days as classmates at the University of Zambia.

I hold him in high esteem as a professional colleague and later as a politician whom I would like to sincerely thank for his immense contribution towards the growth of our party.

I particularly urge our party members and citizens in general to fully respect his decision to join the PF. His decision arises from his democratic right to choose who he should associate with at any given time.

We have repeatedly said opposition politics in Zambia now is like being a l***r and a criminal. One has to pay the heavy price of being ostracized and shunned upon by those that do not want to encroach on the hospitality of the powers that be.

Being in opposition now means enduring brutality, suppression and basically an outcast in our own country.

We are reminded of the tribulations and torment that the children of Israel went through during their journey from Egypt to the Promised Land. It is not everyone who managed to cross over.

We consider the current situation to that of the biblical times for the children of Israel. We are on a turbulent journey with the suffering Zambian masses. We can see the promised land and request all our citizens to remain strong. It's darkest before dawn.

‘Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.’ Ephesians 6:11

Let's continue moving forward.

To all of us in business it's important to make our environment of business secure and free for our customers. Customers security is very important for your success.
I mean make sure at least if you trade at a place which is not safe provide necessary information to your new clients on how they should move to and from your place. Second thing I noticed is restaurants allowing or not protecting customers from street kids or arms beggers during meals this disturb and Chase clients. If you want to help people around you, put up a donation box and tell those people that visit to only come on a certain day then you share to them what ever is available.
We lose customers In a simple way without realizing.

When we came out second on the voting segment, our spirits were low....But we knew we still had the LIVE SHOWS to catch up and Even Win The Event.....It wasn't easy because the person who won with the votes had all the advantages going into the Grand Finale with extra points but CHINYANTA was so determined to turn the tables around!!!!! Today, we are witnesses to a clear example of a determined queen.... CHINYANTA KABASO, Miss Africa Great Britain 2020!!! Zambia Our Home And Land Of The Proud...It's coming home guys get ready!!!!!!

An online media platform called 'Kalemba' recently published pics of a 7 year old Mercy who suffers from Cerebral palsy that affects the spine and brain formation. She can neither walk nor make movements of her own. The mother has to carry and help her around.

This morning therefore, I went to Mtendere section C to visit Mercy.

"Ma Doctors bananiuza ati anachedwa kulila after abadwa mu labour ward. Ati sianapeme oxygen mwamusanga ndaba sianalile" said the mother Noreen Musonda on her last born of 5 children)
(The Doctors told me that Mercy took time to cry upon night and hence did not breath in oxygen on time and so her brain go affected (within a few seconds) after birth.

I lifted Mercy and she is quite heavy at age 7 and this must be a heavy task for the mother who further told me that she now has a back problem as a result.

Mercy urgently needs a Walker and the mother states it costs about K950.

I have given her K500 and hereby seek donations directly to her so she can buy the Walker for Mercy.

Let's evoke our 'ubuntu' instinct and more so during this Independence week so that we partially liberate both ba Noreen and Mercy from their misery.
