I RECEIVED OFFERS OF BRIBERY TO ABANDON MY CLIENT BUT MY PRINCIPLES DON'T ALLOW ME - Tembeka Ngcukaitobi reveals how some agents of Zambian Gvt offered him $3 million to abandon ECL family
CELEBRATED Top African lawyer Tembeka Ngcukaitobi has revealed that he feels at peace that justice has been served in the case the Zambian government took the family of Edgar Lungu to court over the burial wishes of the former president. And describing details of what transpired, Tembeka Ngcukaitobi says he received so many threats after rejecting bribery from a known Zambian former lawmaker who claimed he was the President of the former ruling party PF , and alleged that he took over from ECL and currently was recognized by the Zambian government as leader of the PF.
The top lawyer says the man in question is short and constantly phoned him offering $3 million to withdraw from representing the Lungu family.
Tembeka Ngcukaitobi says it is from this point that he decided he would not give up and fight because he smelled something fishy. When asked why he refused to leave the case when he was appointed into government by South African President, Cyril Ramamphosa, Tembeka Ngcukaitobi maintained that his morals could not allow him to abandon a widow.
