Zimbabwe meets Nigeria. 🇿🇼❤️🇳🇬 What a beautiful collision of love, culture, music and two families becoming one.
But wait — I asked Tapsi why she was dancing into her wedding carrying a framed photograph of her man. ❤️
She told me that when she entered, she started looking for him amongst the groomsmen… and couldn’t find him. All she had was the photograph of him taken before he left, so there she was, dancing with his picture while waiting for the actual man to make his appearance.
And then finally he enteres the room dancing to Mudhara Vachauya. ❤️
This is what I love about weddings. Beyond the clothes, the décor and all the beautiful things, it’s these little stories, traditions, cultural exchanges, inside jokes and unexpected moments that give a wedding its own personality. They turn a ceremony into an experience and give everyone something to talk about long after the day is over.
God grant us multiple flights, because at this point we need to attend ALL the Tribe weddings. 😂 What do you mean we are supposed to make the clothes and then stay home while all of THIS is happening?
Congratulations, Makorokoto, Nmeka.✨️ Tapsie & Olayinka
❤️ May the joy of this day follow you into the life you are building together.
