A quiet and happy Father’s Day.
Reflecting on this life we jointly share together, the journey of fatherhood has always been intertw**ed with our Saddler venture. From the early years working in the home workshop to the present day, Bede has always shown himself devoted to the task of raising his five sons with much intention — a desire to pass on the gift of handiwork, curiosity, and purpose that will no doubt stay with the boys throughout their own journeys into adulthood.
So much of this fatherhood legacy is marked by many ordinary acts of faithfulness and self-sacrifice. Thank you for being the best father our sons could ask for. JA xx

We’re pleased to share that our highly anticipated OUTLET SALE has now begun. Thank you to everyone who has promptly ordered —— as stock is limited to the pieces our workshop has reserved for this event.

The Outlet sale is a unique opportunity to purchase a Saddler & Co piece at a greatly reduced price point. We believe that not a single leather piece crafted in our workshop should go to waste. Yet due to our high standards of quality control, there are always a few items that find their way into our Seconds collection. It is normal for imperfections or faults to occur during the leather production process, yet the overall item is essentially good to use.

These seconds will be useful for years to come, and we hope that you find a piece or two for your collection!

TRAVEL NOTES | Recently we took Saddler & Co on the road and had a charming stay in the lovely space of airdrie_mudgee. Travelling country roads led us to a storybook cottage of charming heritage and style.
Our tried and true leather goods travel at ease, as we settle in for a few days of thoughtful comfort and local discovery.

The clouds had rolled in on this wintery afternoon as we unpack our leather bags, but the house is warm and there is a bottle of local w**e ready to open.
It’s easy to anticipate a cosy evening in. As we wander through the home the interiors are an effortless blend of refined materials, paired with a nostalgic collection of antiques, artworks, and comfortable bedding.

The location is a quiet residential street, yet not very far away from Mudgee’s renowned food and w**ery scene. There is much to discover in this region for a few days, from fine dining options, to organic w**eries, artisanal bakeries, and local producers. It’s always a treat for the senses and we’re sharing some of our favourites on our online journal.
