Watching a custom design come to life is always one of our favourite parts. Here's one of our gorgeous client’s trying on her toile (fitting sample) in preparation for her bespoke pieces for the first time, with the final adjustments to ensure every detail looks and fits just right.

BTS | Behind the Seams

Every great garment begins long before the first stitch.

As we prepare for our 2027 Collection, we’re deep in the patternmaking and sampling process. While fashion is often judged by what appears on the runway or on a screen, the true craftsmanship happens behind the scenes.

Every piece starts with a concept, followed by meticulous pattern development to achieve the perfect fit. From there, we carefully source premium materials, create toiles and prototypes, refine every detail, and tailor each design until it meets our standards. It’s a process that takes countless hours, but it’s what transforms an idea into a timeless garment.

Here is a glimpse behind the scenes—a sketch, a cardboard pattern, and a toile that will soon evolve into one of our future designs.

Crafted from premium Italian Toscana long-haired shearling, the Luisa is fully reversible, offering two luxurious looks in one. One side showcases the natural Toscana shearling with inserts of supple Italian Nappa leather, while the reverse reveals a sleek Nappa leather finish.⁠

Thoughtfully designed with reversible pockets to suit whichever side you choose to wear, an elasticated waistband and cuffs for comfort, and a beautiful long-haired shearling collar that frames both looks, the Luisa is the epitome of timeless style and luxury.⁠
