We arent really sure what finishing season one means, but when we upload into spotify it always asks us what season adn ep we are. We decided WHY NOT wrap up a season (cause it kinda sounds cool) and start a new one for the second half of the year. 🔥🤘

Still blows out brains that we have been recording and posting episodes for 6 months. Which i feel like is about 700 years in ADHD years. 🤣🤣

And just in case this podcast has become a weekly ritual for anyone, don't stress we are booked in to record again at the end of the month. See you soon!

PS: Steph is still saying "she will NEVER not do this" so we have to keep rolling with it hehehe

🚨 SEASON 1... DONE! 🚨

Well... we accidentally finished a season. 😂
No seriously.

We recorded this episode thinking it was just another Wednesday.

Afterwards we looked at each other and said...
"Maybe we should actually wrap up Season 1 here and come back fresh."

So that's exactly what we're doing.

Twenty-three episodes.
Hundreds of tangents.
Way too many accidental therapy sessions.
A hospital adventure.
Zombie apocalypse planning.
Laughing until we couldn't breathe.
And somehow... an incredible little community we never expected to find.

If you've been sitting in Emergency for 8+ hours, your phone battery is dying, you've had multiple doctors tell you "that's weird", and your friend has just been recruited to assist with your blood tests...
..at what point are you allowed to ask if you're actually trapped in the Matrix?

Because somewhere around 11pm, I looked at Amy and genuinely asked:

"Am I actually still on the side of the road? Did I crash the car? Is this all happening in my head?"

Honestly, by hour 9 of Emergency, anything feels possible.

Things we learnt during our 12-hour emergency room adventure:

❌ We are not qualified nurses
❌ Hospital vending machine sandwiches hit differently at midnight
❌ 2% phone battery creates psychological damage
❌ You absolutely can convince yourself you're trapped in a simulation
✅ Trauma bonding is a real and beautiful thing

Also, shout out to the angel nurse who adopted us for the evening and the doctor whose main diagnosis appeared to be:
