Busy season is upon us! ๐Ÿฅต

First proper sunny day here in WA and the orders were coming in HOT!

As some of you may have seen, Iโ€™ve made the decision to move over to a 3PL (third-party logistics) in 2027.

Basically, this means outsourcing our warehousing, packing and shipping to a company that specialises in exactly that.

As you can see, this side of the business has become quite the task! While Iโ€™ve loved being hands-on with every order, itโ€™s now taking up a significant amount of my time and pulling me away from other areas of the business.

Jalayimiya is also now a Pty Ltd company, which comes with more responsibilities, processes and systems to manage as we continue to grow.

Moving to a 3PL means having access to the equipment, technology and trained staff to get your orders packed and out the door more efficiently. It also means I can spend more time doing what I actually started this business to do. Creating cool clothes!

Itโ€™s another big step for Jalayimiya and one that makes sense for where the business is heading.

Also, after watching this video back, I now understand how Iโ€™ve managed to maintain my upper body strength throughout my weight loss journey. Apparently packing orders is a workout in itself. ๐Ÿ˜…

A little look at the growth of Jalayimiya from April 2025 to October 2026. ๐Ÿ“ˆ

Over the past 18 months, weโ€™ve seen some incredible growth, including:

โœจ 638% growth in sales
โœจ 333% increase in orders
โœจ 77% increase in average order value

As a self-funded, Aboriginal-owned fashion label, these milestones are something Iโ€™m incredibly proud of.
