Follow along for Julie’s journey

A big milestone for Julie Brock this week - she’s past the HALFWAY checkpoint on her run from Perth to Sydney! 👏

Since crossing the WA/SA border, Julie has continued making her way across South Australia, passing the Nullarbor Roadhouse and Yalata, bypassing Ceduna and now reaching Wirrulla.

Halfway there and getting closer to Bondi every day. An incredible effort, Julie!

Follow along for more updates on Julie’s Perth to Bondi run

Another update on Central Coast local and this week, a special mention for her support crew, Dave.

Julie has now made it into South Australia and is officially over a third of the way from Perth to Sydney, while continuing to cover an incredible 70+km most days.

It’s been a tough stretch, with plenty of rain, cold weather and relentless headwinds — some days strong enough to turn much of the running into walking. Despite that, she’s still moving forward and getting the kilometres done each day.

And behind the scenes, Dave is keeping the whole show on the road. He’s organising the food, drinks, accommodation, washing, driving and breaks, so Julie can focus on what she describes simply as “eat, sleep, run, repeat.”

A huge effort from both of them.

It was great to have coaches Warren and Jordan pop into the shop today — and with the ASICS Novablast 6 officially released today, Jordan couldn’t resist grabbing himself a pair!

We love supporting the athletes, coaches and running community who inspire us every day. Here’s to plenty of kilometres, big goals and even bigger achievements!

Always a pleasure welcoming the one and only Roger Fabri into the shop! 🙌

Roger dropped by to pick up a fresh pair of Nike Maxfly 2 spikes, ready for the next block of racing. 🔥👟

It was also great to catch up with Maya before she heads off to the World Junior Championships. Wishing her the very best as she takes on the world’s best—we’ll be cheering you on every step of the way! 🌏🇦🇺

A Gold Coast Marathon throwback!

Back in 1983, the Runners Shop team hired out a race clock for the . Just before the gun, the clock refused to start! Co-owner Robert Beardslee had to scramble up a ladder to get it running manually.

With zero warm-up, a literal jump-start off the ladder, and a quick comfort stop along the way, he still managed to claim 3rd place in the Half Marathon with an incredible time of 1:13:34! 🥉

Talk about holding down the fort under pressure!
