I am actually so excited about these. This is something I’ve wanted to do for YEARS. I saw a gorgeous student naturopath through my uni, highly highly recommend. If that’s something you’re interested in I’d be happy to share!

The last one made me nose laugh 😅

I’ve been back at Uni for almost 7 weeks now and one of my top tips is to have a study space you love! Mine is super cosy; a quilted blanket on my comfy study chair, a restored vintage table that I adore, quilted coasters for my coffee (or tea by night ☕️), plants, warm lighting, my trusty heat pack, and instrumental music playing always ✨

I also try to feed my body and brain foods that support my wellbeing, and stay hydrated 💧

School holidays have come with their own set of challenges, but alas we persist 😅💪

Hello! I’ve just realised I updated in my stories but didn’t get around to posting on the grid 🫣

ANYWAY, I’m not going to make a big hullabaloo about it, but I haven’t sat down to sew in a super dooper long time. A little over a month ago I decided to go back to uni, I’ve been at it for 4 weeks now and holy moly it’s been good food for the soul. Butttt, it does mean I just don’t have the time for Marigold. She’s been a beautiful chapter, but I think she may be coming to her natural end 📖

Okay maybe I will be making a little bit of a hullabaloo. I don’t want to say I’m finished, because I do have some fabric and bits and bobs left I want to use up, but it’s just not my priority right now. So maybe a few pieces will trickle in, maybe they won’t, I just don’t know 🤷‍♀️ and that’s okay, we don’t have to have all the answers!

I think what I’m trying to say is that this page is going to change a little. I don’t want it to be “just” a business page moving forward, but rather a little bit personal with the odd update if/when I am making. I’ll likely change the name of the page to reflect this, I just don’t know what to yet ✨

This has been a much slower season for Marigold 🌼

Settling into our new life, our small human starting prep & myself starting a new chapter at my other job (if you could call it that, honestly). Throw a big surgery for the little one in there too.

The world around us changing so very rapidly, and with so much unknown.

When I reflected on 2025, I promised myself I would go into the new year with more intention. More mulling things over before acting, sitting with how I feel about where my energy is directed.

Before I know it, it’s been 5 months since I’ve posted to the grid. I could make a plan for social media, to appease the algorithm, but I don’t want to. I don’t want to force it for the sake of views. I just want to share what feels right, when it feels right.

So here are some of my home grown marigolds, drying out on my kitchen windowsill for something special. I hope to share it with you soon.

I’m so grateful for this life 🌞
