Sinds april 2022 hebben wij Industrieel & Zo van Jan en Caroline Linders overgenomen en speuren wij enthousiast heel Europa af naar mooie en bijzondere vintage en industriële Items. How about an entire 19th-century pharmacy?

This reddish-brown pine setup came from the storeroom of an old German pharmacy. We believe these were the original fittings, from before the pharmacy was renewed in the early 20th century. The later interior is still there, but that one wasn’t coming home with us. 😉

We’ve reassembled the original corner layout, with large drawers, original labels and rows of narrow shelves. The three sections can also be arranged in a straight line, and an extra wall rack with small shelves is included.

A rare find for a concept store, interior project or anyone planning a shop with a little more history.

Wat dacht je van een apotheekinrichting uit de 19e eeuw?

Deze roodbruine inrichting in massief dennenhout komt uit de voorraadkamer van een oude Duitse apotheek. Vermoedelijk waren dit de oorspronkelijke kasten, van vóór de vernieuwing begin 20e eeuw. De latere inrichting staat er trouwens nog altijd, maar die kregen we niet mee. 😉

We hebben de oorspronkelijke hoekopstelling opnieuw samengesteld, met grote lades, originele naamkaartjes en rijen smalle legplankjes. De drie delen kunnen ook naast elkaar staan. Er hoort bovendien een extra muurrek met kleine legplankjes bij.

Een bijzondere vondst voor een conceptstore, winkel of interieurproject dat wel wat geschiedenis kan gebruiken.

A baker’s rack with room for a lot more than bread.

This old wooden rack has a lovely worn patina, two columns of sliding shelves and little numbers carved into the wood. It originally had 16 shelves, so somewhere along the way, one went missing. It happens.

We can see it filled with ceramics in a workshop, crockery at home or all sorts of bits and pieces in a shop. Plenty of room to put things on display, without hiding them behind doors.

Een bakkerskast die ook buiten de bakkerij haar mannetje staat.

Twee kolommen met uitschuifbare leggers, elk met een nummer in het hout gekerfd. Helaas is er eentje verdwenen door de jaren heen.

Een mooie plek voor keramiek in een atelier, servies thuis of allerlei spullen in een winkel. Door de open indeling staat alles netjes uitgestald en heb je het meteen bij de hand.

A gynaecologist’s cabinet from our hometown. Who knows, maybe we crossed paths in our very first minute of life?

This 1950s–60s medical cabinet came from the practice of a local gynaecologist. His son kept it in the garage for years, and when we found it, the cabinet was still packed with original glassware and accessories.

White metal, a black glass top, three shelves in original bubble glass and plenty of little details that make this one special. Even the medicine bottles and glass jars have survived.

Een gynaecologenkastje uit onze geboortestad. Wie weet zijn we elkaar hier wel tegengekomen, in onze allereerste levensminuut?

Dit medische kastje uit de jaren 50-60 komt uit de praktijk van een plaatselijke gynaecoloog. Zijn zoon bewaarde het jarenlang in de garage. Toen wij het vonden, bleek het binnenin nog verrassend compleet, met heel wat originele onderdelen en glaswerk.

Wit metaal, een zwarte glazen bovenplaat en drie leggers in oud bubbelglas. Ook de glazen bakjes, metalen fleshouders, medicijnflesjes en potten zijn er nog bij.

One of our early ROBUST finds.

This Staalmeubel cabinet has been with us for years, but somehow always ended up in a forgotten corner of the warehouse. Time to give it a bit more attention!

20 steel drawers, plenty of rust and patina, and that raised steel frame. We like it as it is, with all the signs of a working life.

Eén van onze eerste aankopen voor ROBUST. ❤️

Deze Staalmeubel-kast staat al jaren bij ons in de loods, meestal wat vergeten in een hoekje. Tijd om ze eens in de kijker te zetten!

Twintig stalen lades, waarvan de meeste nog het originele Staalmeubel-opschrift dragen. Met de nodige roest en gebruikssporen, precies zoals je een oude werkplaatskast mag verwachten.

Four metres of oak. That’s one long bench. ❤️

We found two of these old church benches in the Netherlands. Solid oak, high backs and those lovely curled ends. We can picture them around a big dining table or in a spacious hallway.

Vier meter eikenhout. Dat is een serieuze bank. ❤️

We vonden er twee in Nederland. Massief eiken, een hoge rugleuning en die mooie krullen aan de uiteinden. Wij zien ze zo aan een grote eettafel staan, of in een ruime inkomhal.

Ze worden apart verkocht, dus eentje mag ook. Of twee, als je plaats genoeg hebt. 😉

A display cabinet at the front, around 50 drawers at the back. Now that’s a useful combination. ❤️

This German mid-century counter has plenty of room to show off the little things, while keeping everything else neatly tucked away. We can see it working in a shop, but it would look just as good at home.

Not exactly Nele’s favourite kind of vintage… but even she has to admit this one is pretty cool. 😉

This original Opel dealer sign came back from Germany in one piece. Two huge panels of glass, 333 cm wide in total.

And yes, getting it home without breaking anything was a job for Ivan. He knows how to handle the delicate stuff. 😄

A proper piece of Opel history for a garage, workshop, showroom or a very large wall.

Niet meteen Nele haar favoriete soort vintage… maar zelfs zij moet toegeven dat deze wel erg mooi is. 😉

Dit originele Opel dealerbord kwam helemaal intact uit Duitsland. Twee grote panelen glas, samen maar liefst 333 cm breed.

En ja, om dat heelhuids thuis te krijgen, mocht Ivan nog eens laten zien dat hij weet hoe je delicate spullen aanpakt. 😄
